Conflict Within
By Alexia Purdy

There's a little man inside my brain.
Who laughs at me, 'spite all my pain.
Hey tiny man, inside my head.
What virtues to which you've bled?
Have you ever, led your own fight?
You disintigrate, what I find right.
Why little man, have you bagun
Situations that make me run?
Did you know you turn my stomach so?
Why did you claim me as your foe?
Yet you and I are both the same
We curse eachother for the blame
Yet little man, inside my brain.
Does it not make this fight in vain?
For I am you, and you are me.
Would that not make us one, you see?
