Review time...

Ok, so if anyone is remotely interested in doing a review on my YA Urban Fantasy book Interim Blue, hit me up. Free copies will be available via email.  I will also be giving away a few paperback versions.  I only require that you submit your review to Amazon.com for Kindle and paperback versions, or Barnes & Noble for Nook version.  I have to say, I am really wondering what everyone thinks about it.  Unfortunately, everyone has remained mum about it and have kept their horrible or good opinions to themselves. HMMM.  I could use a hint... Hit me up on Face book or Twitter or email me! alexeea@yahoo.com  Hope to hear from all you reading fanatics soon.

If not now, then when?

I was seriously thinking today, what job could I get that didn't involve getting up so darn early, making my own hours, be my own boss, and get paid good for it too.  Well, I didn't really come up with anything. What a brain twister.  I also thought hey, why don't I just quit my job and go get a job at a nice bookstore and file books all day long and recommend titles to other book lovers?  Aaah, wouldn't that be nice? Other people do it right? RIGHT!  Like that would work for me.  I quickly clamp that thought away in nice dark crevice far back in the 'LMAO!' file of my brain and dutifully go to work each day.  Of course the anxiety ridden thoughts of homelessness definitely helps with that.
Of course I could also say that I am two-thirds of the way to my goal. I love to write, not really getting paid to do it yet though.   But writing helps free the insanity that lurks around my head and digs its little claws into the part of me that would like to tell everyone to go to hell so I can live another day, in my normal world, a 'will-be making money at this some day' lovely insane world....

HTML means Hell to My Life

Ok, HTML is really annoying. Anyone know how to add script to HTML?  If you do, let me know.  It feels like I'm reading jibberish.  I think I might have messed it up.  I see the the darn ad on the wrong spot. Hmmmm....

HBO Go is really addictive...

I've been watching Game of Thrones on HBO GO and all I can say is wow, that is one highly addictive series.  To my dismay, Season 2 is not yet on there for my viewing pleasure. Do you know how bummed out I was.  Oh if anyone wants to know what Dylan looks like from my book, I imagined him looking just about exactly like Lord Jon Snow played by actor Kit Harrington. It weirded me out to see someone I imagained on paper look like he stepped off the page onto the big screen.  He could play the part so completely.
Anyhow, still bummed out and waiting for season 2 to show up online on HBO Go.  What shall I obsess about in the meantime?

Starting out is like having a second job...

So I just published my first novel Interim Blue.  It's a YA urban fantasy, now selling on Amazon.com.  All I can say is that I've never worked so hard in my entire life!  Now the work begins! I have had to set up new social networking page,s like on facebook. I signed up for Twitter, a thing I said I would probably never do.  How I have found myself finding ways to advertise is beyond me.  I now have a blogspot! I'm pretty happy with all I have achieved this past year.  I am still tiredlessly working on the second book of the Teleen Trilogy and a new post apocalyptic vampire hunter novel for YA.  I am excited for the least and can't wait to shell out the stories swarming in my head for everyone to enjoy. Let's just say it's been some kinda of a trip! If anyone has any ideas, suggestions, help for marketing, hey, I would definitely be open to anything!
